Dura & Joshua

Dura and Joshua have been married for over eight years, bound by their shared love for Jesus, coffee and their deep commitment to helping others. Both began their professional journeys as paramedics, where they honed their skills in providing care during critical moments. Later, they transitioned into nursing, continuing to dedicate their lives to healing and supporting those in need.

Even amidst their demanding careers in healthcare, coffee has remained a central part of their lives. Wherever their adventures took them, they sought out the best local coffee shops, exploring new flavors and brewing techniques. For Dura, this passion was deeply rooted. From a young age, she dreamed of one day owning her own coffee shop—a dream she and Joshua often talked about during quiet moments together.

In 2021, they decided to take their love for coffee to the next level. With a desire to create something meaningful and step back from the intensity of healthcare, they began learning the art of coffee roasting. What started as a hobby quickly became a labor of love as they experimented with different beans and roasting methods.

As their skills improved, Dura and Joshua eagerly shared their craft with friends, family, and their local community. They began participating in events, setting up shop at weddings, farmers markets, and community gatherings, where their freshly roasted coffee quickly became a hit. Each cup of coffee they served carried the same care and dedication they had shown as healthcare workers—a commitment to making someone’s day just a little better.

Today, Dura and Joshua are living their dream, blending their passion for coffee with their lifelong mission to serve others.
